The short story: Three of four Rams runners set new personal records in the ECU Pirate Invitational. VCU did not qualify for team scoring.

THE FINISH LINE

  • Junior Delaney Savedge set a new personal record for the 6k as she finished with a time of 21:53.61. This also marked the first time this season that she finished in the top-10 overall.
  • Ashley Brown finished just after Savedge, recording a time of 22:20.48. That set a new personal record for her as well.
  • Senior Nichelle Scott ran a 22:28.41 (personal record), finishing in the top-15 for the first time this season.
  • Junior Judith White rounded things out for the Rams, finishing in the top-50 with a time of 24:17.75.
  • The Rams only ran four runners in this race and therefore didn't qualify for team scoring.
