RINSE AND REPEAT: SNEED NABS ANOTHER A-10 HONOR

RICHMOND, Va. – Jasmin Sneed is going to run out of room in her trophy case.

On Monday, Sneed, a senior middle blocker, was named Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week…again. It's Sneed's second Defensive Player of the Week honor in three weeks and the seventh of her career.

A San Antonio, Texas native, Sneed received the award after she led the Rams to a pair of league wins over La Salle and Duquesne. She averaged 2.25 blocks and 1.62 kills per set in those victories. Sneed also hit .440.

Earlier this season, Sneed, an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention selection in 2018, set VCU's career blocks mark. She's averaging 1.72 blocks per set this season, which ranks second nationally to Taryn Knuth of Florida State (1.75).

Sneed and the Rams will return to the court on Friday, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. at Davidson.
