RICHMOND, Va. – VCU senior Robyn Parks continues to earn recognition for her outstanding final campaign as a Ram. On Wednesday, the Richmond Times-Dispatch named Parks to its annual Division I All-State First Team.

Parks is joined on the squad by Kirby Burkholder of James Madison – the State Player of the Year – Shae Kelly of Old Dominion, Taylor Brown of George Mason and Alyssa Bennett of Hampton.
The award is the latest in what has been a steady parade of accolades for the VCU power forward and pro prospect. Parks led the Atlantic 10 Conference in scoring for the second straight season (21.6 ppg) and was also the league's top rebounder (9.3 rpg).
For her efforts, Parks has already been selected to the A-10's All-Conference First Team, as well as to the All-Defensive and All-Tournament Teams.
Parks led a VCU Women's Basketball revival this season. Behind her, the Rams improved by 11 wins this season and earned a berth in the Women's NIT.

The Waldorf, Md. native ranks sixth in school history in points with 1,561, seventh in rebounds and fifth in double-doubles.
