RICHMOND, Va. – Despite the weather outside acting a little crazy, the VCU men's tennis team remained constant with yet another victory, this time a 7-0 sweep of Binghamton on Saturday afternoon at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.

It was VCU's fourth straight win and ninth in the first 10 spring matches for the Black & Gold. Saturday was the fifth time this spring that the Rams have kept their opponent without a point.

The Rams quickly swept through the doubles matches led by the veteran duo of junior Max Wennakoski and senior Filip Svensson, who took home an 8-4 victory at the second doubles spot.

Wennakoski kept rolling in singles action with an easy 6-0, 6-4 decision at the second singles position to spark a singles sweep by the Black & Gold.

The Rams will look to continue its strong play next Saturday when they travel to ACC foe Maryland for a 1 p.m. showdown.
