RICHMOND, Va. – Former VCU standouts Lanto Griffin and Rafael Campos have officially earned their PGA Tour cards for next season.

The former VCU teammates received their full PGA status by virtue of their top 25 finishes on the KornFerry Tour's 2019 money list. Griffin, who previously played on the PGA Tour in 2018, finished seventh on the KornFerry money list this season with $243,655 in the bank. Campos sits 18th on the money list with $166,476 in winnings this year.

Griffin, a Blacksburg, Va. native, has recorded four top 10 finishes on the KornFerry Tour in 2019. In April, he captured the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Championship on the fourth hole of a sudden death playoff. Campos has a pair of top 10 finishes in 2019, including a win at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in January.

Campos and Griffin were teammates at VCU from 2006-10 and led the Rams to a Colonial Athletic Association Championship in 2009, as well as NCAA Regional appearance in 2009 and 2010. Griffin was named CAA Player of the Year in 2009.
