GILBERT, Ariz. – VCU field hockey senior midfielder Bentley Zabicki has been selected to participate in the Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game on Nov. 22. Zabicki is one of 38 seniors nationwide to be selected for the game.

Zabicki's selection marks the third consecutive year that VCU has had at least one student-athlete participate as Emily McNamara was selected in 2018 and Spencer Tossone and Chessa Kownurko were selected in 2017.

"I know I speak for everyone in our program when I say how excited we are that Bentley has been chosen to represent VCU in this game.  It's a well-deserved honor for a player who, day after day, has put in the work behind the scenes to help move this program forward," said VCU head coach Stacey Bean.

Zabicki has played in 66 games thus far at VCU with 55 career starts. The Yorktown, Va. native has two assists so far this season after scoring one goal and having three assists last season.

The Division I Senior Game will take place in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game is projected for 7 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Wake Forest University's Kentner Stadium following the completion of the NCAA Division I semifinal games.
