Audrey Sanderson will enter her first season as the Director of Operations for the VCU Women's Soccer program beginning Fall 2019. Sanderson joins the coaching staff after a successful career as a goalkeeper for the Rams.
Sanderson has written herself in the VCU history books as she is top five in both career saves (192) and career clean sheets (18). She ranks third all-time in single-season clean sheets with eight in 2017.
During her senior season at VCU, Sanderson played 17 games between the pipes, saved 50 shots and posted seven clean sheets. In 2017 she captained the squad, leading her team on and off the field while playing every minute off all 20 games. During this stint, she saved 69 shots with an 82% save percentage and posted eight clean sheets. During the fall of 2016, Sanderson solidified herself as the starting goalkeeper and subsequently started 17 games for the Rams, saving 73 shots and earned a 76% save percentage.
Before playing collegiately, Sanderson played at Ravenwood High School in Nashville, Tennessee.
