General: Sprinter is a crucial part of the Black & Gold's success in the relay events... Will try and be part of history when the Rams try to chase down the school record in the 4x400 relay... Valuable point scorer in the 200-meter and 400-meter dash.

2007-2008/Redshirt Freshman: Ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 meter relay squad that nearly set a record at the CAA Championships and posted a personal best in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.52 (4/18-4/19/08)... Ran as part of the 4x400 relay at the prestigious Penn Relays (4/24-4/26/08)... Part of the 4x400 relay team that earned a win at the George Mason Last Chance Meet (5/3/08).

2006-2007/Freshman: Competed in the mid-distance events for the Rams before suffering an injury that caused her to sit out the rest of the season.

Prior to VCU: Participated in track and field for three years, one at Granby High School and two at Douglas Freeman High School... Helped the Comets to a second-place showing in the Indoor District Championship during her senior season... Member of the school-record setting 4x200 meter relay team during her sophomore year at Freeman... Earned All-District and All-Region honors during her sophomore and junior seasons... In her only season at Granby, she captured the 500-meter district championship and the 4x400 meter relay district championship as well as earning the Comet Award.

Personal: Daughter of Sandra and Jorge Thondique... Born on August 24, 1988... Majoring in Sociology... Brother, Greg, is a star on the Virginia Union Men's Basketball squad.
