Prior to VCU:


Master of the Middle: As a midfielder for the Bulldogs, White tallied eight goals and six assists en route to a berth in the District Semi-Finals during her senior campaign 

Two-timer:  After two outstanding years in the midfield, White was honored with back-to-back appearances on the VHSCA All-State team. Honorable Mention as a junior and Second Team as a senior.

O Captain, My Captain!: With her stellar play comes the leadership role and Breiana embraced it, serving as team captain at C.D. Hylton for her final two campaigns.

Getting to Know Breiana

Eight Men (and Women) In: Although she is away from home, Breiana shouldn’t feel too uncomfortable being one of eight students from C.D. Hylton to enroll at VCU this fall.  

It’s in the Genes: College athletics is in the bloodline for Breiana with her dad playing football at the University of Maryland for four years as a wide receiver.   

Connecting the Dots: Breiana already has a little bit of connections to VCU as her mother, Diane Mosebay-White graduated from California University of Pennsylvania, the same school that VCU men’s basketball coach Shaka Smart got his start in coaching.    

Sharing the Birthday Cake: The cake has to be twice as big come March 27th, when Wilson and teammate Breiana White will both celebrate their 19th birthday.

Grandma's Girl: White lists her grandmother as the person she looks up to the most "because she is such a strong-willed person and she always puts everyone else before herself."
