Prior to VCU:

On the Court and On the Pitch: Soccer was not the only sport Pierson thrived at in high school. She could also be found schooling people on the hardwood during all four seasons at Park View.

Dancing in the District: Pierson was a regular at the district tournaments with a combined six appearances in district tournaments between her basketball and soccer squads.

Captain x 3: During her final three seasons with the Patriots, Pierson was named team captain on the soccer squad.

Friendly with the scoring column: Pierson ranked in the top two in goals and assists in three out of her four seasons at Park View. She missed one year due to an ACL injury in the first scrimmage prior to her junior season.

District Dazzler: On two occasions, Pierson earned All-District honors, including First-Team accolades during her sophomore campaign.

Too Hot to Handle: Along with incoming teammates Lauryn Hutchinson, Ashley Grant and Christiana Hambright, Pierson was a seven-year member of the Loudoun Hotshots club team that made appearances in the State Final Four during all four seasons.

Obviously not a Bon Jovi fan: Pierson was recruited by two CAA schools, George Mason and VCU. She obviously did not want to hear “Livin’ On a Prayer” for four straight years.

Getting to Know Paige

Seeing Double: Pierson has a twin brother, Ryan.
