Always a force: Throughout her four years, the Virginia Beach area always knew that First Colonial would have something to say during girl’s soccer season. Rowengartner, Get in the Game: No it’s wasn’t what the movie was about, but Dullea did earn Rookie of the Year honors as a member of the varsity girl’s soccer team during her freshman season with the Patriots.
Flying Under the Radar: Although her high school career was full of soccer accolades, Dullea went under the radar for most schools and actually began the recruiting process at VCU by reaching out to the Rams coaching staff before they reached out to her.
Leader Among Teammates: Not only did Dullea serve as team captain during her senior year at First Colonial, she also served as team captain of the Virginia Rush Nike club team that won the 2008 Disney Showcase. Also on that squad were current Ram teammates Jessica McNamara and Amber Achesinski.
Does Coach McQuade need any help?: Dullea’s talents weren’t limited to the pitch as she also starred on the field hockey field, earning Team MVP honors for the JV squad during her freshman season.
