Prior to VCU:
A Full Trophy Case at the Adams’ Household: Amanda was a standout player with the Spartans of Salem High School, earning AA State Player of the Year, Region IV Player of the Year and River Ridge District Player of the Year in 2006. She was also a two-time member of the All-State team and a two-time Regional Player of the Year.
Follow the Leader: Adams was marked as a leader early on, serving as the team girls’ soccer team captain for three seasons at Salem.
Yes, Miss President: Adams served as the Student Body President at Salem during her senior year
Winning Tradition: She was an important part of the Spartans run to the 2003 Virginia AA State Championship
Not Just a Star on the Pitch: Along with playing four years of soccer, she also played one year of basketball for Salem.
