2007-08 (JUNIOR):
Named Second Team All-CAA...Averaged 13.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury on Feb. 14...Set a school-record with her 31st caeer double-double (17 points, 14 rebounds) against Boston University on Dec. 28...Finished the season with 12 double-dobules, giving her 37 for her career...Had her best game of the season in a road win against East Carolina on Dec. 1, pouring in 24 points and pulling down 16 rebounds...Became the 17th player in VCU history to score at least 1,000 points on Jan. 17 at Old Dominion, doing so on the same night as teammate Krystal Vaughn.

2006-07 (SOPHOMORE):
Named Second Team All-CAA and Second Team All-State by Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID)... Invited to USA Basketball U19 Team Trials in Colorado Springs, Colo... Played in 29 games, making 26 starts while averaging 29.1 minutes... Recorded 11 double-doubles... Led VCU and finished second in the league in rebounds per game (9.4) and field goal percentage (.532). Field goal percentage was second best in Rams’ history... Second on the team in scoring at 13.7 points per game... Ranked third in the league in blocked shots per game (1.28)... Became one of three Rams to registered double-doubles in five consecutive games (Jan. 21-Feb. 4)... Tied a season-high with 22 points and eight rebounds in win over Albany (Nov. 21)... Scored 20 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, blocked three shots and handed out three assists to propel Rams to road win at Radford (Nov. 15).

2005-06 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN):
Named Freshman All-American by Women’s Basketball News Service… Won VCU’s first CAA Rookie of the Year award... Also named Third Team All-CAA and to the CAA All-Defensive Team... Named State Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors… Started all 28 games and led Rams with averages of 14.7 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks, while shooting .515 from the field… Ranked eighth nationally in rebounding, 21st in blocked shots and 48th in field goal percentage… Shattered school freshman class scoring record of 386 points by dropping in 412 during the season… Her 14 double-doubles were the third-most in school history… Ranked 10th among the nation’s freshmen in shooting, second in rebounds, third in blocked shots and fourth in double-doubles… Was the youngest player in the country during the season… Tried out for the USA Basketball U-18 Team in Colorado Springs, Colo… Poured in 27 to lift the Rams past Georgia State in overtime (March 2). Earned her fifth CAA Rookie of the Week award in the process... Selected as one of USA Today’s Impact Freshman in Feb. 23rd edition... Had 17 points and 16 rebounds, logging her 12th double-double, in win over George Mason (Feb. 19)... Recorded just the second 20-20 game in VCU history with 24 points and 21 rebounds vs. William & Mary (Feb. 12)... Her 16 defensive rebounds in that game set a school record... Earned her fourth CAA Rookie of the Week award (Feb. 13)... Had second straight double-double and 10th of the season vs. Towson (Feb. 10)... Earned third CAA Rookie of the Week honor (Jan. 30)... Featured in the Feb. 6th edition of Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd”... Exploded for 32 points and set school records for free throws made (16) attempted (20) in Rams’ win over Georgia State (Jan. 13)... Featured in USA Today (Jan. 11) and Sports Illustrated on Campus as its first-ever Athlete of the Week (Jan. 10).... Nearly turned in a triple-double, scoring 17 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking eight shots in a 57-55 win over George Mason (Jan. 8)... Named CAA Player of the Week (Dec. 27)... Hit game tying free throw in regulation and had go-ahead layup with 24 seconds left in the second overtime as VCU defeated Richmond, 76-74 (Nov. 30). Finished with career-high 22 points and 12 rebounds, four steals and three blocks against the Spiders.

Prior to VCU:
Four-year team member at Great Bridge High School… Averaged 13.5 points as a senior and helped the Wildcats to a berth in the 2004 Eastern Region tournament … Paced Great Bridge in rebounds and deflections during her junior and senior years… Competed for the Boo Williams AAU squad… Chose VCU over CAA rival Old Dominion… Also participated in one year of high school track & field.

Personal:
Majoring in operations research with a minor in computer science… Excellent student, who entered high school at the age of 11 after skipping two grades and graduated with honors at the age of 15… Born November 15, 1988 … Daughter of Angela and Marvin Pelzer.
