WHILE WITH THE RAMS:

UNLUCKY INJURY: Moss saw action in 22 contests with nine starts before suffering a torn ACL and meniscus injury at home against UNC Wilmington (Feb. 5, 2009), promptly ending her junior season.  Prior to the injury, she was shooting a team-best .379 (11-of-29) from behind the arc and connecting on a .885 clip from the free throw line.

LIGHTS OUT: Moss had a career day in the scoring column at UNC Wilmington (Jan. 25, 2009) with 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including a perfect 4-of-4 from three-point range.  She also posted a game-high and tied her career-best with 20 points on a prolific 7-of-11 shooting in a pivotal road win at James Madison (Jan. 11, 2009).

DOUBLIN’ UP: As a junior, Moss notched back-to-back double-doubles with 10 points and 10 rebounds at Radford (Dec. 19, 2008), and followed that performance with 15 points and a career-high tying 12 rebounds in a home victory against North Carolina Central (Dec. 21, 2008).  She sports six career double-doubles with four coming during her sophomore campaign.

TOURNEY TERROR: During the 2007-08 season, Moss nearly led the Rams to an upset victory in the Colonial Athletic Association title game against 14th-ranked Old Dominion with her second double-double of the tournament (16 points and 10 rebounds).  She had 11 points and 10 rebounds against Northeastern in the opening round.  In her first postseason game on March 9, 2007, Moss contributed 13 points in 30 minutes during the Rams’ quarterfinal match-up against Delaware.

PRIOR TO VCU:

HIGH SCHOOL BALLER: Moss played four years of basketball at Norcross High School in Duluth Ga., and was a McDonald’s All-American nominee during her senior year.  She also received all-state recognition following her junior and senior campaigns after averaging 20 points, 11 rebounds and just over two steals per game.

SUCCESS STORY: Along with fellow senior standout Kita Waller, Moss helped lead the Georgia Metros to a pair of AAU National Championships.
