RAMS TO OPEN WAITING LIST FOR MEN’S BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS

Due to unprecedented demand, the VCU Ticket Office will open a waiting list for men's basketball season tickets. The VCU Ticket Office will fulfill all season ticket renewals through Friday, Aug. 31. If payment is not received by this date, the seats will be released.

At that point, all remaining season tickets will be distributed to fans who have placed a deposit toward season tickets. All fans are encouraged to join the VCU Men's Basketball Ticket Wait List. Should season tickets become available, wait list members will receive the opportunity to purchase tickets prior to the general public. All fans who sign up for the wait list will receive first priority for any single-game tickets that become available for men's basketball, exclusive ticket offers for other VCU Athletics programs and updates on upcoming VCU Athletics events.

Season tickets are awarded based on the following criteria in this order (unless otherwise specified on the wait list form):
(1) Availability
(2) Annual contribution to the Ram Athletic Fund
(3) Priority points
(4) Date of ticket request submission

A limited number of single-game, standing room-only tickets will be available for each home game of the 2012-13 season through the VCU Ticket Office and will be on sale at a later date.

Student tickets will be distributed again on game days on a first-come, first-served basis. Over the holiday break, VCU Athletics anticipates reduced demand for student tickets, which will allow for the release of a limited number of single-game tickets for contests in late December through early January.

VCU has sold out a school-record 18 consecutive home games at the Verizon Wireless Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center, including every contest during the 2011-12 season.
