RICHMOND, Va. – The contributions of junior middle blocker Tori Baldwin (Liberty, N.C.) and sophomore middle Jasmin Sneed (San Antonio, Texas) to VCU's 3-1 record last week did not go unnoticed. Both players were honored by the Atlantic 10 Conference Tuesday for their efforts.
Baldwin was named A-10 Co-Player of the Week, an honor she'll share with Fordham's Olivia Fairchild. This season, Sneed is averaging a team-best 1.57 blocks per set. She's also hitting .257 and providing 1.57 kills.
