QUOTABLE
"We didn't do well offensively the third set, but we picked it up blocking. I'm really happy with the blocking, and Kristin Boyd had another good night. It's a good time of the year for her to get on track. It was fun. We did a really good job with ball control with the little tips and stuff, which we've struggled with in the past."

-- VCU Coach James Finley

  • Boyd now has 1,164 career kills and trails Elisa Kuehnel (1,184) by 20 for second on the school's all-time list.
  • With four blocks, senior Jasmine Waters moved into sixth place in school history with 310.
