The Short Story: Sophomore Alexis Stroman led the VCU women's track & field to a strong showing in the final meet before NCAA East Regionals. Stroman and classmate Kiara Porter helped the Rams finish with 12 overall team points, which ranked in the top-25 at the meet which featured over 50 squads from up and down the East Coast. Stroman posted two PRs, including coming just .03 seconds short of tying the school record in the 100-meter hurdles.
How It Happened
- Porter raced to a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.71. It was her third-best 200 time of the spring.
