RICHMOND, Va. - The senior year for all college athletes is something they never forget, it'll be the last time many of them ever compete in their respective sports. Senior throw Kelsey Farmer faces that realization this year and will be donning the Black & Gold for the final time this winter and spring.

Farmer and her teammates have a warm-up meet at Christopher Newport before the Christmas Break, but really get after it when classes get underway in late January. Before getting in the middle of a busy season, Farmer sat down with VCU Athletic Communications Student Assistant Nan Turner caught up with her to find out a little more about the Mechanicsville, Va. native.
