  • The Short Story: In its first appearance at the Atlantic 10 Championships, VCU Women's Tennis sent a clear message, dominating La Salle, 4-0, in just over an hour to roll into Friday's quarterfinals. The win was the 10th straight for the Rams who haven't lost since February 24 and now sit at 19-4 on the year.

How It Happened

  • The Black & Gold set the tone from the start, quickly taking 8-0 victories at #1 and #3 doubles to gain a 1-0 advantage.
  • Freshman Olga Barscheuskaya started the singles matches off by breezing to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Jenna Manzione at #5 singles. Classmate Karina Alesha pushed VCU's lead to 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 win of her own at #6 singles.
  • Junior Olga Terteac wrapped up the match for the Rams with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Chloe Trave at #4 singles.
