NINE HOME GAMES HIGHLIGHT RAMS’ 2010 SCHEDULE

RICHMOND, Va. – Fans of the Virginia Commonwealth University women's soccer program will get plenty of chances to see all the boatload of new players joining the Rams next season.
Nine home games highlight the Black & Gold's 2010 schedule, which includes a trip to the JMU Invitational and trip to the Sunshine State.

The newcomers will get their first taste of game action at VCU's Sports Backers Stadium on August 13th when the Rams host the Pirates of East Carolina at 7 p.m. in an exhibition contest.
On August 20th, Longwood makes the short trip east for the Black & Gold's season opener. Game time at Sports Backers is set for 7 p.m.

VCU then hits the road for four straight with games against Villanova and St. John's at the JMU Invitational, followed by two tilts in the Sunshine State against Stetson and Central Florida.

Home games against Liberty and Elon and a trip over to Richmond set the stage for the conference opener at home against defending CAA regular season champion, Northeastern, at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 24th.

Hofstra and Towson both make a visit to Sports Backers, while the Rams travel to George Mason, UNC Wilmington and Georgia State.

The Black & Gold seniors will have their final weekend at home when VCU hosts Delaware and Drexel on October 15th and 17th.
