AROUND THE HORNS:
  • Barbour earned second team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors, while receiving second team Virginia Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) University Division All-State Team accolades during her first season with the Rams in 2010-11.  She averaged 16.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.1 steals per game in 22 contests. Fifteen of VCU’s 19 wins came with her in the lineup.
  • She transferred to VCU after playing her sophomore season at Patrick Henry CC where she appeared in 20 games, averaging 23.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per outing.
  • Barbour was named to the ACC All-Rookie Team during her freshman season at Virginia Tech.  She saw action in 26 games with 24 starts, averaging 15.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
  • She was the 2007 Virginia High School League AA State Player of the Year at Charlottesville High School, where she was also a McDonald’s All-American Semifinalist as a senior.


2010-11 SEASON (R-JUNIOR)

  • Shot 36.6 percent (15 for 41) from 3-point range, which was the second-best mark on the team
  • Finished the season strong, averaging 19.3 points, 5.3 rpg, 2.9 assists and 1.7 steals per game during VCU’s final 14 outings
  • Made her debut with the Rams on Dec. 23 against Radford, registering 10 points and six rebounds off the bench
  • Tallied 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a game-high five steals off the bench in the Rams’ CAA-opening victory against William & Mary (1/2/11)
  • Made her first start as a Ram against Northeastern (1/16/11), tallying 17 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals
  • Scored a career-high 28 points at Delaware (2/24/11) and against Hofstra in the CAA Tournament (3/11/11) after dropping 24 at Drexel (2/20/11)
  • Tallied 23 points against Georgia State (1/27/11) and followed with 21 versus Drexel (1/30/11)
  • Posted first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds against James Madison (2/20/11)
  • Added 17 points, eight rebounds and set career highs in assists (7) and blocks (4) at UNC Wilmington (2/3/11)
  • Boasted seven 20-point performances in final 14 games


2009-10 SEASON (R-SOPHOMORE)

  • Named Region X Player of the Year at Patrick Henry Community College
  • Played in 20 games, averaging 23.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per outing
  • Shot 60 percent (190-of-318) from the field and 52 percent (22-of-42) from 3-point range
  • Helped lead the Patriots to the 2009-10 NJCAA Region X title and a 2010 NJCAA Division II National Runner-Up finish
  • Named to the All-Tournament team and Caterpillar Power Player of the Tournament in Peoria, Ill.
  • Scored 45 points in the national semifinal game against Kankakee CC
  • Registered 35 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead PCCC to the 2010 Division II Final Four
  • Registered a triple-double (32 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in PHCC’s ninth game of the season

2007-08 SEASON (FRESHMAN)

  • Named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Rookie Team during her freshman season at Virginia Tech
  • Saw action in 26 games with 24 starts, averaging 15.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game
  • Collected 38 steals, dished out 36 assists and finished with 17 blocks
  • Was named ACC Rookie of the Week for the week ending Dec. 30, 2007, becoming the first Virginia Tech women’s basketball player to win the weekly award since the Hokies joined the ACC in 2005
  • Named the Hokie Hardwood Classic MVP after tying the tournament single-game record with 11 field goals against East Carolina
  • Scored a career-high 29 points in a win against Liberty
  • Registered double figures in 20 of the 26 games she played in as a rookie
  • Broke the 20-point barrier six times


HIGH SCHOOL

  • Was the 2007 Virginia High School League AA State Player of the Year
  • Named Most Valuable Player in the Virginia High School Coaches Association (VHSCA) All-Star game after leading the East to an 81-60 victory with 34 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots
