RICHMOND, Va. - The VCU women's basketball team is gearing up for another season and a hunt for a fourth straight 20-plus win campaign.

Junior center Chelsea Snyder is a big part of the Rams' plans this year and VCU Athletic Commmunications student assistant Nan Turner sat down with Chelsea to get to know her a little better.

NT: What's your favorite thing about VCU?
Its diversity

NT: When you're not on the court, what do you like to do in your free time?
Catch up on my sleep and hang out with friends!

NT: If you could play on any other VCU sports team, which one would you choose? Why?
Volleyball because I've never played it before.

NT: Who has been the most influential person in your life? Why?
My AAU coach/trainer because he believed in me even when no one else did. He succeeds in everything that he does because he works for it.

NT: What are you most looking forward to this season?
Winning a championship.

NT: What's your favorite part of a game day?
Favorite: Pregame rituals in the locker room and pregame meals by Mr. Rick!

NT: What's something people would be surprised to know about you?
I have been in a quad (four wheeler) race before and placed in the top half.
