The short story: The Rams fell to Princeton on the road Sunday afternoon in the Jadwin Gymnasium. Senior Marten Jonsson earned a point for The Black and Gold by defeating Princeton's Thomas Colautti, 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (12-10). Jonsson is now holds a 5-2 record in dual singles matches this season.


  • Freshman Javier Amantegui battled hard on the sixth court in a three set match. After dropping the first set, he bounced back to take the second, but would later fall to Jonathan Carcione, 7-5, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8).
  • Junior Louis Ishizaka faced Payton Holden, ranked 101st by the ITA. He fell 6-2, 6-3, but possesses an overall singles record of 10-6.
  • Senior Daryl Monfils and Jonsson battled Luke Gamble and Alexander Day, ranked 20th by the ITA in doubles play. The match was tied at four a piece, but was deemed unfinished after Princeton took the lone doubles point.
