RICHMOND, Va. – A second consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship and 18th overall conference championship is just 75 miles away for the VCU men's tennis team.

As the 50th ranked team in the latest ITA rankings, the Rams enter this weekend's Atlantic 10 Tournament in Charlottesville, Va. as the second seed. George Washington earned the top spot.

Last spring, VCU picked up the Atlantic 10 Championship by defeating the Colonials, 4-3.

Heugas, who is 19-9 this year in singles play, enters this weekend as the conference's top ranked player at 67th in the country. He is also a part of the conference's top doubles duo, combining with Nick Jones for the 38th best tandem in the country.

VCU will take on Fordham in the quarterfinals on Friday. First serve at Boar's Head Sports Club is set for 1 p.m.
