RAMS FINISH WEEKEND UNBLEMISHED WITH WINS OVER GEORGTOWN, LONGWOOD AND RICHMOND

RICHMOND, Va. – You think you had a busy weekend? Take a look at the VCU men's tennis team who took the court five times in the annual VCU 4x1 Invitational.

Not only did they take the court five times, they dominated every time they stepped on the court with victories over Georgetown on Saturday and Longwood and Richmond on Sunday, pairing with wins over Drexel and Campbell on Friday.

Leading the way for the Rams was senior Filip Svensson (pictured, main), who went a perfect 4-0 on the weekend. All four of his wins came in straight sets.

Junior Camill Salomon (pictured, right) and sophomore Alejando Argente were just behind Svensson, each posting 3-0 ledgers on the weekend.

Sophomore Antoine Baroz returned after a semester off to help VCU claim two doubles victories at the invitational.

The Rams return to action this upcoming weekend in Durham, N.C. at the ITA Indoor Regionals. VCU will take on 10th-ranked Duke.
