RICHMOND, Va. – Two in a row is a repeat. Three in a row is the triple crown, but when you get past three the catchy nicknames cease. Yet it might be time for the VCU Men's Tennis team to come up with something for five in a row.

For the third time in as many matches this season, the Rams swept their opponent 5-0 in the VCU 4-1 Invitational. George Mason has joined Georgetown and Howard in falling victim to the Black & Gold without winning a match.

Freshman Alejandro Argente as the # 1 kicked things off for VCU on the singles side by defeating the Patriots' Jorge Osuna 7-5, 6-1.

His teammates Jordan Dyke (6-3, 6-4), Jaime Vasquez (6-2, 6-1), and Filip Svensson (6-4, 6-4) followed suit as all three disposed of their opponents without losing a set.

The doubles action for the Rams was an even closer comparison to the match's final 5-0 score. Tim Johannsen and Antoine Baroz unceremoniously dispatched Steve Hyre and Mike Phaup of George Mason 6-0, 6-0.
