RICHMOND, Va. - With the CAA Tournament just a few weeks away, the VCU men's soccer team finds themselves in the thick of the race for the top four spots.

Freshman Peter Lee has been a bright spot for the Black & Gold and while the Rams were home this week, VCU Athletic Communications Student Assistant Scott Wyant sat down with the Midlothian, Va. native to get to know him a little more.

SW: Why did you decide to come to VCU?
PL: I grew up watching VCU play and wanted to be a part of the history.

SW: If you had a free ticket to any event what would you go see?
PL: World Cup

SW: When did you start playing soccer?
PL: As early as I can remember.

SW: What your greatest accomplishment on the pitch?
PL: Going to Brazil and training with the youth Atletico Paranaese teams.

SW: What is the best part of being a student athlete?
PL: Playing the sport you love while getting an education.

SW: Is there any player you model your game after?
PL: Not really but I do admire a lot of players.

SW: What do you hope your career is 10 years from now?
PL: Playing at the next level.
