REDDIC EARNS SPOT AT REESE’S NABC SENIOR ALL-STAR GAME

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU's Juvonte Reddic is a rare talent on the basketball court.

How rare? Reddic is the only player in school history to rank in the top-20 in scoring (14th – 1,438 points) and top-10 in rebounds (3rd – 895), blocks (6th – 123) and steals (8th – 160).

Those numbers and two straight appearances on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference squads earned the Winston-Salem, N.C. native a spot at the 2014 Reese's NABC All-Star Game in Dallas. This marks the third straight year a Ram has participated in the game with Bradford Burgess in 2012 and Troy Daniels in 2013.

Reddic and classmate Rob Brandenberg became the first class in VCU history and just the second class in the history of Virginia college basketball to make four straight trips to the NCAA Tournament. They rank second all-time in total wins over four years with 110.

The Reese's Division I College All-Star game will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, beginning on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The teams are composed of senior student-athletes in NCAA Division I.

The game will be telecast on a tape delay on Saturday, April 5, from 12-2 p.m. EDT on CBS.
