RICHMOND, Va. – Havoc continues to invade television sets all over the country.
The VCU Athletic Department announced on Thursday that they have reached an agreement with MASN to broadcast the men's basketball regular season home opener against Illinois State on November 8.
"We are extremely proud to partner with VCU, one of the best college basketball programs in the Mid-Atlantic region. This early season matchup is a great way for MASN to jumpstart our college hoops schedule," MASN Executive Vice President of Programming Jim Cuddihy said.
The Rams and Redbirds will tip off at 7 p.m.
Of VCU's 31 games, 21 have already been confirmed for television, 10 of them on the ESPN family of networks.
There are expected to be several more added over the coming weeks.
In the Metro Richmond area, MASN can be found on channel 43 on Comcast (845 for HD viewing), as well as 640 on DirecTV, 77 on Fios (577 for HD) and 432 on the Dish Network.
