BRISTOL, Conn. – In case you're a member of #RamNation and can't make the trip to Northern Iowa in mid-December, don't worry, ESPNU has your covered.
It was announced late Thursday that ESPNU will broadcast VCU's showdown with the Panthers on Dec. 14. Game time is set for 12 p.m. EST.
With the announcement, it is guaranteed that a minimum of five of VCU's first 11 games will be on the ESPN family of networks.
The matchup will feature two of the 11 programs that have won a postseason game in each of the last four seasons (Butler, BYU, Creighton, Gonzaga, Kansas, North Carolina, Northern Iowa, Ohio State, Purdue, Syracuse and VCU).
This will be a rematch of the 2012 Bracketbuster game in Richmond, which the Rams won, 77-68, behind 15 points and 11 rebounds from then-sophomore Juvonte Reddic.
Reddic and five of his teammates return from last year's squad that went 29-7 and reached the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 for the third consecutive year.
