RAMS FINISH IN TOP-25 FOR SECOND TIME IN THREE YEARS

Final ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll

RICHMOND, Va. – The confetti's gone. "One Shining Moment" is over. The nets have been cut down. The 2012-13 college basketball season is officially in the rearview mirror.

It was a historic year in many ways for VCU Basketball and that was capped off on Tuesday when the Rams earned a spot in the final ESPN/USA Today Coaches Top-25 Poll of the season. VCU finished #23 in the rankings, marking the second time in the past three seasons that the Black & Gold have wrapped up the year in the Top-25.

The Rams finished 27-9 on the year and made a third straight NCAA Tournament appearance, earning a five-seed in the South Region.

VCU is now one of five schools in the country to win 27 or more games in each of the past four seasons. The others in that group are Duke, Kansas, Syracuse and Ohio State.
