BLACK OUT BUTLER - FANS WILL BE PROVIDED SHIRTS FOR FREE!

For most VCU Men's Basketball fans, and college basketball fans in general, the upcoming game versus Butler on Saturday, March 2 at 12:00 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center is one of the most anticipated games of the season.  VCU will host the Bulldogs at home for the first-time ever in an Atlantic 10 Conference matchup that will be nationally televised on ESPN2 at the Siegel Center. This game is slated to be one of the biggest, most important and exciting games in VCU Basketball history.

As you may have heard, this game has been designated as a "Blackout", for all fans to wear black. Haven't purchased your Blackout t-shirt yet? Don't worry, VCU Athletics has your back. Literally. Due to the overwhelming success, positive feedback and incredible support and cooperation for "Stripe the Stu", VCU Athletics has done it once again. ALL fans will have a black "Havoc Lives Here" t-shirt on their seat when they arrive to the arena. As was done previously for "Stripe the Stu", all t-shirts will be size extra-large to best accommodate all fans to support the Blackout Butler effort. There will be a limited number of 2XL and 3XL t-shirts available for fans to exchange on the concourse on a first-come, first-served basis.

VCU Athletics and VCU Basketball asks fans to fully support the Blackout Butler presented by Nationwide Insurance effort by putting on their t-shirt once they arrive to the arena. Once again there will be a professional photographer on hand to capture this historic event.

VCU Athletics would like to thank the following sponsors for their participation and support of Blackout Butler presented by Nationwide Insurance: Lumber Liquidators, Capital Interiors, Prosperity Mortgage, BEX Logistics, and ChemDry.

Thank you for your continued support of VCU Basketball and we look forward to seeing Saturday, March 2nd at 12:00 p.m. to Blackout Butler!
