> VCU hits the road for the first time in Atlantic 10 play seeking its 11th straight victory after toppling Dayton in its A10 opener on Wednesday, 74-62. The Rams' current win streak is the seventh longest active streak in the country entering this weekend.
> The Rams are sporting a national ranking during the regular season for the first time since 1984-85 after VCU was slotted as the 24th-ranked squad by the USA Today/Coaches poll this week. It's the first time that the Rams have earned a regular season Top-25 ranking by the coaches' poll.
> During its current 10-game winning streak, VCU has outscored its opposition by an average of 24.3 ppg (83.0-58.7). The Rams have forced exactly double the amount of turnovers it has given up during that stretch (122 to 244), which has led to 165 more field-goal attempts.
> VCU's current winning streak marks the second straight year that the Rams have posted double-digit win streaks. Prior to last year, it hadn't been done since the 1984-85 campaign. The current streak marks the ninth time in program history that VCU has won 10 or more consecutive games.
> Wednesday's win over Dayton kicked off VCU's first season in the Atlantic 10 Conference after spending 17 years in the Colonial Athletic Association. No team has ever won the automatic bid in the first year after moving into a league which posted a higher RPI in the previous season.
> This is the third all-time meeting between the two schools with the Bonnies holding a 2-0 advantage over the Black & Gold. The last time the two schools met was during the 1978-79 campaign when VCU dropped a 84-76 decision in Olean.
> St. Bonaventure is VCU's eighth opponent so far this year that earned a NCAA Tournament berth last season. Overall, the Rams will take on 12 NCAA Tournament squads.
> Senior Troy Daniels is the reigning A10 Player of the Week after averaging 22 points and seven rebounds last week. During that week, he broke his own school record and set a new conference record with 11 three-pointers en route to a career-high 33 points in a road win at ETSU.
> On Wednesday, sophomore Treveon Graham poured in 20+ points for the third time this season with 24 points on 7-of-12 shooting. He has now tallied double-digits in 14 of VCU's 16 games this season and leads the squad with 15.4 points per night.
> With 15 steals and 26 forced turnovers in Wednesday's win over Dayton, VCU posted its sixth straight game of at least 22 turnovers by its opponent and 14 or more steals.
