SCHEDULE FOR 2013 SHAKA SMART RADIO SHOWS SET
RICHMOND, Va. - Here's the scenario: It's Thursday night, three nights removed from a big New Year's Eve bash. The entire family is done with eating leftover Christmas ham and wants to get out of the house.
Here the answer: Pick the wife and kids up, deck them out in black and gold and head on down to Home Team Grill in the Fan (located at the corner of Main and Vine) for the first radio show night of the year with VCU Athletics and Head Coach Shaka Smart.
That's right the VCU Athletics radio shows are back on ESPN 950 AM, starting on Thursday, January 3 at 5 p.m. It kicks off with "An Hour with Ed", which features Director of Athletics Ed McLaughlin joining Greg Burton for an hour of talking sports. That will be followed by "The Shaka Smart Radio Show" presented by Virginia Lottery.
