BRISTOL, Conn. - The Havoc world tour has added a new stop for next year. A stop in Puerto Rico has been added to the VCU men's basketball schedule for next November.

The Rams were announced as part of highly-touted eight-team field for the 2013 Puerto Rico Tip-Off. In addition to the Black & Gold, the field for the seventh annual event includes Auburn, Charlotte, Florida State, Georgetown, Kansas State, Long Beach State and Michigan.

The 2013 Puerto Rico Tip-Off will feature a bracket format with 12 games over three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through the bracket. The two teams that remain undefeated throughout will face off in a  game on the final day of competition.

Exact dates and games for the event will be announced at a later date.

Previous winners of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off include Alabama, Minnesota, Villanova, Xavier and Miami (Fla.).

The family-friendly tournament and resort destination of Puerto Rico host the teams to three days of play, practices and immersion into the Puerto Rican culture and landscape.
