RAMS PARTNER WITH PURITAN CLEANERS FOR “COATS FOR KIDS” DRIVE

RICHMOND, Va. – While college basketball season is just about to warm up, the weather is doing the exact opposite and that's why Head Coach Shaka Smart and the VCU Basketball program has partnered with Puritan Cleaners to be a part of their Coats for Kids program.

Coming off their historic Final Four run, the Rams want to make sure the community that supported so much last March is taken care of and that starts with the youth of the Metro Richmond area.

Puritan Cleaners will be collecting coasts before, during and after Thursday's exhibition contest against California (Pa.). The first 300 people who donate a coat will receive a FREE 2011 Final Four Poster.

Let's pack the Verizon Wireless Arena to bring home not only a win but a bunch of coasts as well!
