BLACK & BLUE LUNCHEON SET FOR FRIDAY AT HOME TEAM GRILL IN THE FAN

RICHMOND, Va. – Outside of the power six conferences, it's tough to find a city with more college basketball talent than Richmond. Over the past five years, the two schools have combined for eight postseason appearances and plenty of upsets of BCS schools.

On Friday, Dec. 10, fans and basketball lovers will get their chance to chat with the two men that reign over those two basketball programs as VCU Head Coach Shaka Smart will join Richmond's Chris Mooney at the Black & Blue Classic Luncheon, hosted by Greg Burton of ESPN 950 at Home Team Grill in the Fan.

Tickets will not be sold for the event, it will be a first come, first serve basis and will begin at 12 p.m. and run for about an hour with questions from both Burton and fans in attendance.

The event is part of ESPN Radio 950's day-long event for Holiday Cheer & Gear. The program is in it's fourth year where new pieces of sporting equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, baseball gloves, etc.) are donated and distributed to kids around Central Virginia through the Salvation Army Christmas Assistance program.

Saturday will be the actually game day with the showdown set for 7 p.m. at the Robins Center on the campus of the University of Richmond.

Home Team Grill is located at 1630 W. Main Street in Richmond.
