MEN’S GOLF HEADED TO TPC MYRTLE BEACH FOR NCAA REGIONALS

RICHMOND, Va. – The VCU Golf team, hot off its fourth Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, is headed to TPC Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, S.C. to compete in the NCAA Regionals May 13-15.

The Rams, who will make their first NCAA appearance since 2016, will compete among a 14-team regional field that will include Wake Forest, Cal, Texas Tech, Illinois, Florida State and others.

VCU earned its place among the 81-team field following a thrilling, 2-stroke A-10 Championship win over preseason favorite Davidson on April 28.

Overall, VCU will be making its 12th NCAA appearance. The Rams, with a roster comprised entirely of underclassmen, are led by freshmen Ian Peng and Adrian Vagberg, as well as sophomore Kristian Tannum Donaldson, who each registered a top-10 finish at the A-10 Championship.
