• Led team with 74.00 stroke average.
• Earned runner-up honors after playoff at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate (74-72-66=212). Fired season-low 66 during the final round on Pinehurst No. 6.
• Placed ninth at CAA Championships at Pinehurst No. 8 (75-76-73=224).
• Finished 14th at UNC Greensboro Bridgestone Classic (72-70-70=212).

• Placed 20^th in a field stocked with collegians at the 2009 Eastern Amateur.
• Posted a top 25 finish at the 2009 State Open of Virginia.
• In the summer of 2009, he played 28 competitive rounds and recorded a stroke average of 71.52.
