  • Bucknell tied the game 1-1 in the 18th minute as Lexi Quick scored on a penalty corner.
  • Brittany Willwerth gave Bucknell a 2-1 lead just over two minutes later with an unassisted goal.
  • The Bison made it 3-1 in the 33rd minute as Nicole Rupnik deflected in a shot,
  • Wetzel brought the Rams within 3-2 after a goal in the 50th minute but VCU couldn't complete the comeback.
