FIELD HOCKEY TO HOST FACULTY & STAFF APPRECIATION NIGHT ON THURSDAY

RICHMOND, Va. - What makes VCU one of the fastest growing and most diverse institutions in the country? Well, a big reason is because of the Faculty & Staff that is dedicated to making Ram Nation the best it can possibly be.

The VCU Field Hockey team wants to show that group the love they deserve with "VCU Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night", this Thursday, September 15 at 6 p.m. when the Black & gold host Longwood University at 6 p.m. VCU is coming off a 2-1 defeat of Davidson on Sunday afternoon, while the Lancers are playing well and narrowly lost to ninth-ranked Duke, 1-0 this past weekend.

The first 50 VCU Faculty or Staff members who check in at the Athletic Marketing table with a valid VCU ID will receive FREE pizza and a beverage. Additionally, the first 25 VCU Faculty or Staff members will receive a FREE VCU Field Hockey T-shirt!

All VCU Faculty & Staff members in attendance will be recognized for their contributions to the success of VCU students, including VCU's approximate 300 student-athletes.

Members of the Field Hockey team will personally recognize faculty or staff members who have had an impact on their career thus far at VCU at halftime.

Please join us for VCU Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night at Field Hockey this Thurs., Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. at Cary Street Field!
