VCU'S CONTEST AT VIRGINIA CANCELLED DUE TO EXPECTED INCLEMENT WEATHER

RICHMOND, Va. - The Virginia-VCU baseball game, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Davenport Field, has been cancelled because of expected inclement weather in the Charlottesville area throughout the day. The game will not be made up.

This marks the second-straight year that a meeting between the two programs in Charlottesville has been washed out, with 2011's contest being suspended in the second inning of play.

The Rams next scheduled game is this Thursday, in Lexington, Va., with VMI at 6 p.m. The two teams have already played two times this season, with the Black & Gold taking each contest.
