VCU BASEBALL ANNOUNCES SLATE OF DOLLAR DAYS AT THE DIAMOND

By Devon Howard, VCU Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant

RICHMOND, Va.—Very few things say baseball like peanuts, cracker jacks and hot dogs. The VCU Athletics department has made it easier to get all three, with its offering of dollar dogs and dollar admission to select home games throughout the 2012 season.

VCU baseball fans will be able to purchase dogs at The Diamond for only $1 at nine games this season, including this Friday's 6 p.m. match-up with conference foe UNC Wilmington.

The Rams welcome UNCW to The Diamond for a three-game series. First pitch for Friday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
