GETTING TO KNOW: SOPHOMORE INFIEDLER NICK KIME
Coming off a terrific summer season in the Cal Ripken Colligate
Baseball League sophomore infielder Nick Kime is
excited to get back to work for the VCU Baseball team.
VCU Athletic Communications Student Assistant Andrew Phillips was
able to catch up with Kime, to see what he does with his time
during the off-season.
AP: Why did you come to VCU?
NK: I came to VCU to play baseball, I used to come watch
the Rams' baseball team play when I was younger.
AP: What are your plans after college?
NK: I want to play professional baseball.
AP: Most memorable moment at
VCU?
NK: Winning the CAA Baseball championship freshman
year.
AP: Do you have any pre-game
rituals/superstitions?
NK: I say a prayer
AP: Pick to win the World Series?
NK: Tampa Bay Rays
AP: Goals for the 2011 season?
NK:Win another CAA championship, and go further in the
NCAA Tournament than last year
AP: Who has influenced you the most?
NK: My parents until I got VCU, then the upper classmen
influenced me the most since I've been at VCU.
