Prior to VCU:  Competed in cross country for five years and track & field for four years for the Panthers... All-State in cross country his senior season... All-American in 4x1 mile relay at Nike Indoor Nationals as a senior... MVP in cross country and indoor track as a senior... All-State in the mile as a senior... Outstanding Runner Award... Best cross country newcomer as a freshman.
