In order to make any organization run properly, there has to be
people behind the scenes making sure everything runs correctly.
Compliance is one of those areas for any college athletic
department and Wall is one of those people making sure everything
is good to go for the Rams.
A Roanoke, Va. native, Wall was hired as the Assistant Athletic
Director for Compliance in the spring of 2010 after spending two
seasons as the Director of Compliance at West Virginia
University.
While at VCU, Wall will serve as the primary contact for all NCAA
rule interpretations and helps with financial aid papers and other
compliance waivers.
He earned his master's degree in sport management from WVU in 2005
and is currently finishing up as a doctoral candidate in
WVU’s educational leadership studies, with a concentration in
higher education administration.
Wall received his bachelor’s from West Carolina in 2001,
where he was a one-year letterman on the men’s basketball
team.
Wall currently resides in Richmond with his wife Ashley and their
two daughters, Madeline and Caroline.
