Matt Smith joined VCU in 2007 as an academic advisor. Smith provides VCU’s student athletes with academic services and support.
Smith is also a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) and the National Association for Sport & Physical Education (NASPE).
A Delphos, Ohio native, Smith owns a bachelor’s degree in communications and journalism from Wright State University, as well as a master’s in sport science from the University of Akron.
