Ronnie Pascale
Title: Volunteer Coach

Ronnie Pascale returns for a second stint as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for VCU men’s soccer in 2017, specializing with the goalkeepers.

“We are very excited to add Ronnie to the staff to work with the goalkeepers this season,” Head Coach Dave Giffard said. “He is a first-class person and will do a great job with our four goalkeepers. He was also an excellent pro and I’m sure all of the players will benefit from his experiences of a long professional career.”

Pascale had previously served as the goalkeeper coach for the Rams from 2002-07.

A seasoned professional, Pascale played for local United Soccer League (USL) side Richmond Kickers from 2000-12 after being drafted by the Atlanta Silverbacks in 1999. He appeared in over 250 matches over the course of his career. Pascale led the team to USL titles in 2006 and 2009, and was named USL Goalkeeper of the Year in 2006.

Before his professional career, Pascale was a standout at Furman from 1995-98. He was named All-SoCon all four years and was Furman’s Male Athlete of the Year in 1998.
