Jessica Imhof joined the VCU staff prior to the 2015-16 season and will serve as the Rams' video coordinator for a second season in 2016-17. She'll breakdown practice, game and other footage for scouting and evaluation purposes, as well as a number of other duties.
She recently completed a two-year stint as a graduate assistant coach at Elmira College, where she aided the team in a number of areas, including scouting, film breakdown and practice planning. Imhof, who completed her master's degree in education during that period, also served as head coach of Elmira's junior varsity team.
Imhof served as an assistant coach at her alma mater, The College of New Jersey, during the 2012-13 campaign. She also owns a wealth of experience in camp and AAU settings. A four-year player at TCNJ, Imhof averaged 12.7 points per game and shot 39 percent from 3-point range as a senior in 2011-12.
"Jess has really had a positive impact on our program since her arrival," O'Boyle said. "She's been involved in basketball as a player and coach most of her life, and understands the demands of the business. Jess is organized and dedicated, and she relates well to people. Her future is in coaching, and we're excited to be part of that growth process."
